My Trip to Lake Arrowhead

On Friday February 19, 2010, I left to go to Lake Arrowhead. The car ride was about 2 hours long. When we got there we went to the hotel, and checked in. When we got to the hotel room we had to move to another because my mom and dad didn't think it was big enough. After, we unpacked we went to lunch at Snow Valley. When we went to dinner I had a delicious steak, and for dessert I had vanilla ice cream. It was so good. I wish I could eat all that again!

Snow Valley is really fun because you can go sledding, inner tubing, and skiing. When we went to Snow Valley my whole family had a really fun snowball fight.  

Also, we are going skiing at Snow Valley. When we went skiing we had so much fun. We went on chair lifts. ( Chair lifts lift you up in the air, and when you get to the bottom you get off the chair lifts and you snowboard or ski off.) Also, when I was skiing I had a lesson. I had a lesson because it is my first time in the snow, and it is my first time skiing.   

After that day skiing we went back to the, hotel and had some hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was so good, and after the hot chocolate we lied down on the beds and rested. After we did that all of us went to a restaurant Papagayos. For dinner I had an awesome quesadilla, and for dessert we came back to the hotel to have a chocolate chip cookie bigger than my head and four scoops of vanilla ice cream. It was so good! The next day we are leaving. I don't want to leave because it is so much fun in Lake Arrowhead. 




The car ride back home was about the same time it took us to get to Lake Arrowhead.

My Family

I really love my family because they are always there for me when I get hurt. When I get hurt and I am bleeding they give me bandages, clean it, and then put Neosporin on it. Also, when I am sad they give me whatever I want.

Once, when I was on the swing set I fell off and hurt my back. They were there for me, and they gave me ice. It hurt so badly. Also, when that happened I got the wind knocked of me. ( That means you stopped breathing for a second.)


My family members are so nice. I love them so much! They also buy me so much of what I  want. They do whatever I want too. I love them! 

When you get hurt do you parents do all that stuff that my parents do?

Mary Poppins at the Ahmanson Theater

Last night, I went to see Mary Poppins on stage at the Ahmanson Theatre.

I went with my mom, dad, sister, and my grammy. 

My favorite part of the show was when Mary Poppins started to fly into the crowd, and when the man was walking on the ceiling and the wall. They were doing that by having strings on to their shoulders. It was so cool.  My favorite song was " Chim Chimney Chim Chimney".

The Hockey Game! Los Angeles Kings vs Boston Bruins

Today I went to a hockey game. The teams were the Los Angeles Kings vs the Boston Bruins. The score was 4-3. The Kings won in a shootout. A shootout is when it's a one on one. The only players on the ice are the shooter and the goalie. I was in row nine with seats 20 and 21.  




At the game we saw the tallest hockey player ever. His name is Zdeno Chara, and he is six feet and nine inches. That is so tall. He also holds a record for the fastest slapshot in hockey history. His record for the slapshot is 105.4 MPH. That's amazing!

Trading Hockey Cards With My Friends Ben and Joss

Above is a hockey card that shows a picture of the greatest hockey player of all time named Wayne Gretzky.

Today at my friends Ben and Joss's house I traded a lot of hockey cards.  I had so fun because you get cards and you trade them. When I traded the hockey cards I got about 15 cards from Ben and Joss in all.


 I got one of my favorite hockey players named Marcel Dionne. Marcel Dionne is one of the best players for the hockey team named the Los Angeles Kings. Also Marcel Dionne was on one of the best hockey lines ever called the Triple Crown Line. That line scored so many goals in one season. The Triple Crown line scored 51 goals, 61 assists and 112 points. That's a lot of points.

I also got this really cool card and it was a goalie from the 1900's.  When  I saw it I could tell that it was from the 1900's because he didn't have a helmet. He only had a mask.  




Zach Parise is a hockey player for the New Jersey Devils, and he is so good he practically scores a goal every game. That's how good he is in hockey. 


Anze (Ange) Kopitar is a player for the Los Angeles Kings and he is so good too. But he hasn't been scoring a lot of goals lately. ( Anze Kopitar is my favorite hockey player ever!) 


Wayne Gretzky is the best hockey player ever in hockey. Once he a had over one hundred points. That's amazing.

Winter Break

Today is my last day of winter break. I go back to school on January 4, 2010. During winter break I did a lot of stuff. I celebrated Christmas and Christmas was my favorite part of winter break. Christmas is my favorite holiday because you get lots of presents.

Also during winter break I saw the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 the Squeakquel. I thought is was such a great movie I want to see it over and over again.

Also during winter break I went to two hockey games. The teams were the Minnesota Wild and the Los Angeles Kings. Minnesota won the one with a score of 4-3. I was so mad that they won. The second games teams were the Washington Capitals and the Los Angeles Kings. At the end of the game the score was 2-1 and I was so happy because the Kings won 2-1. That was awesome. But the best part was when the game ended and there was a celebrity hockey game. I don't know the score of that game because I left early in the first period. I left that game early because I had to go to my friends house for dinner and his name is Ben.

The last thing I did was see my friends Zack and Dani. When I was with them I went to have lunch at Ruby's and I ate delicious chicken fingers with BBQ sauce and to drink I had a vanilla milkshake. I loved the milkshake! Then after that my friends and me played at my house.

Favorite Holidays

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday because you get so many presents. Here are some of the presents I got for Christmas: I got a iPod touch, The Beatles Rock Band, Guitar Hero Five and a iTunes gift card. I was so happy that I got all that stuff.

My second favorite holiday is New Years. I like the holiday New Years because you get to say Happy New Year! Also I like New Years because I get to have this drink called apple sider. Apple sider is a drink with bubbles in it. Since the grown ups get to drink wine the kids drink apple sider.

My last favorite holiday is Hanukah. I like Hanukah because you get 1 present a night. Maybe some people get more presents a night but that is how I celebrate Hanukah.

Christmas

Above this picture is the ginger bread house and it is my initials on it. I love making the ginger bread house every year!

This week it is Christmas! :) I am so happy because you get a lot of presents that you really wanted. Tomorrow night is Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is the night before Christmas.

Also we made a ginger bread house. The ginger bread house had so much candy on it we had to take some of it off. Can't you believe that! Up above the Christmas tree pictures there are 3 pictures of the ginger bread house. The pictures are in large size image so you can see them great. We made the ginger bread house on December 13, 2009. My family and I made it 12 days before Christmas. It took us about 25 minutes to make the ginger bread house. Last year we had to build the ginger bread house and then create it. That house took about two hours to make. It took so long. :( When I built my first ginger bread house I was about 2 1/2 years old.

Also at school ten days ago my class and I made a ginger bread house with Mrs. Levy's first graders. We had a partner which was a first grader of course. I ate my ginger bread house already and it was so good I want to build 25 more of them.

Hanukah

Last Friday Hanukah started. In Hanukah there are eight days. For every day you light one candle. You light it on a menorah. There are nine candle slots. Even know there are eight days in Hanukah you light nine candles. The ninth candle is always lit at night. Usually you get presents on Hanukah but I don't get presents. I only light the menorah. I only get presents for Christmas.

Some people spell Hanukah like Chanukah ( Hanukah). Most people spell it like I do. I love celebrating Hanukah!

My Collection

First of all, I have a collection of hockey pucks. I get them at all of the hockey games I go to. I have about 45 hockey pucks in all. All of my pucks have a different logo on it. ( A logo is a symbol for the team.) Some of the logos have a crown on it. The crown stands for my favorite team called the Los Angeles Kings. Also some of them have a duck on it and a king on it. I love having a collection of hockey pucks.

I get a lot of pucks because all the players know me. They all know me because I go to a lot of games. So far this year I have got about 5 hockey pucks. I have only 5 pucks this year because I have only been to 5 games.
