Christmas

Above this picture is the ginger bread house and it is my initials on it. I love making the ginger bread house every year!
Here is a picture of my sister Annie's front side of the house.
Right here is picture of the front of my side that I did.

Here is a picture when it it lit up, but all the lights you can't see really well! :)

Here is a picture of my Christmas tree when it is not lit up.
This week it is Christmas! :) I am so happy because you get a lot of presents that you really wanted. Tomorrow night is Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is the night before Christmas.

Also we made a ginger bread house. The ginger bread house had so much candy on it we had to take some of it off. Can't you believe that! Up above the Christmas tree pictures there are 3 pictures of the ginger bread house. The pictures are in large size image so you can see them great. We made the ginger bread house on December 13, 2009. My family and I made it 12 days before Christmas. It took us about 25 minutes to make the ginger bread house. Last year we had to build the ginger bread house and then create it. That house took about two hours to make. It took so long. :( When I built my first ginger bread house I was about 2 1/2 years old.

Also at school ten days ago my class and I made a ginger bread house with Mrs. Levy's first graders. We had a partner which was a first grader of course. I ate my ginger bread house already and it was so good I want to build 25 more of them.

Below here is a song that my school sang for the holiday show!

Christmas is here, Smiles all around All is so bright, All is so bright! Santa will come, To see our town, Into the night, Into the night!

And it’s Christmastime I love, People are smiling,
Holiday singing,

There’s a good feeling

Christmas is here, Gifts all around, All is a=light, All is a-light!
Santa will come, To see our town, Into the night, Into the night!

And it’s Christmastime I love, People are smiling,
Holiday singing,

There’s a good feeling

I love celebrating Christmas! :)

Do you celebrate Christmas and get presents?
Do you like Christmas or not?

Tell me why you do or
don't.

What did you get for Christmas?

Have you made a ginger bread house before?

Dear Nick,

I don't celebrate Christmas, but it sounds like a lot of fun putting up a Christmas tree. By the way you made a really good ginger bread house. Also, you asked if I made a ginger bread house before, and I have not, but the one we made with Mrs. Levy's class was my first one that I made in my whole life! I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. Was that the one we made with Mrs. Levy's class? Did you take it home and put more decorations on it?

Kayla

@ Kayla,

No, it wasn't the one that we decorated with Mrs. Levy's class. No I didn't get home and put more decorations on it. Do you celebrate Hanukah?

Your clasmate,

Nick

Dear Nick,

Excellent post and a fabulous gingerbread house! Wow!

I enjoy making gingerbread houses, although, I haven't made one in a few years. My husband and I used to go to a holiday party where everyone decorated a house. Unfortunately, the lady who throws the party stopped doing it. The last house we made was very special. My husband created little electrical house lights for the gingerbread house. When he flipped the switch, the lights came on! It was really fantastic!

Happy New Year!
